Chamber Music
Every student is placed in a string quartet that rehearses weekly.
Ensembles are coached by Teaching Artists, who reinforce musical and technical goals set by Faculty through repertoire selected collaboratively by Faculty and students.
Inspired by the tenacity and musical growth fostered by the orchestras of El Sistema in Venezuela, El Sistema Syracuse extends this emphasis on ensemble playing through chamber music, complementing existing orchestral performance opportunities.

Chamber music develops collaboration, listening, and communication while giving students the chance to build friendships through making music together.
